We currently serve Northern Virginia. We're expanding to Richmond, Baltimore, Washington DC, Charlotte, and Denver soon.
How much does a visit cost?
Pricing varies by service. A standard wellness exam starts at $150. We provide transparent pricing before you book — no surprise fees.
What animals do you treat?
We treat dogs and cats. If you have another type of pet, please contact us and we'll let you know if we can help.
How long does a visit take?
Most visits take 30–60 minutes depending on the service. Urgent care and end-of-life visits may take longer.
Do you accept pet insurance?
We provide detailed invoices that you can submit to your pet insurance provider for reimbursement. We don't bill insurance directly at this time.
What if my pet needs emergency care?
For life-threatening emergencies, please go to the nearest emergency vet clinic. For same-day urgent but non-emergency care, book an urgent care visit with us.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. You can cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before your appointment at no charge.
Are your vets licensed?
Absolutely. Every StepVet veterinarian is fully licensed and insured in their practicing state.
